Admittedly, works by Hemendranath Mazumdar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abhiman (Wounded Vanity) in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 413,750.00 (€ 467,608.01).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 106.387,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hemendranath Mazumdar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abhiman (Wounded Vanity) im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 413.750,00 (€ 467.608,01).
