Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flower Vendors by Hendra Gunawan was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 335,154.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendra Gunawan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ali Sadikin Pada Masa Perang Kemerdekaan (Ali Sadikin During The Independence Struggle) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 33,240,000.00 (€ 3,744,983.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flower Vendors von Hendra Gunawan wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 335.154,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendra Gunawan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ali Sadikin Pada Masa Perang Kemerdekaan (Ali Sadikin During The Independence Struggle) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 33.240.000,00 (€ 3.744.983,83).
