Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Study For The Torches Of Nero by Henri Ippolitovich Semiradsky for GBP 577,250.00 (€ 719,228.10). This price was achieved in the auction Important Russian Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Henri Ippolitovich Semiradsky have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2013 by the work Un Naufragé Mendiant at GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,302,643.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study For The Torches Of Nero von Henri Ippolitovich Semiradsky für GBP 577.250,00 (€ 719.228,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Russian Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Ippolitovich Semiradsky wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2013 die Arbeit Un Naufragé Mendiant mit GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.302.643,87).
