Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,080.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Views Of The Chateau De Bercy, Paris in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,342.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.080,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Views Of The Chateau De Bercy, Paris im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.342,33).
