Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Couture sous la grande pergola (formant treille au flan sud du parc de Marquayrol) by Henri Martin. The price achieved of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 279,009.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Martin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Joie De Vivre in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,380,216.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couture sous la grande pergola (formant treille au flan sud du parc de Marquayrol) von Henri Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 279.009,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Martin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Joie De Vivre im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.706.500,00 (€ 1.380.216,76).
