Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A view of Zandvoort by Henri Le Fauconnier. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Le Fauconnier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Village au bord d'un lac in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,812.50 (€ 40,017.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of Zandvoort von Henri Le Fauconnier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Le Fauconnier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Village au bord d'un lac im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.812,50 (€ 40.017,16).
