Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An exotic standing nude by Henry Caro-Delvaille was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,848.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Caro-Delvaille - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Le Beau Monde, Biarritz, which sold at auction in November 2009 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,207.78).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.848,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
