Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Off to work by Henry Cooper for GBP 275.00 (€ 349.39). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Henry Cooper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A serene river landscape, with hills beyond in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,689.41).
