This artwork by Henry Perlee Parker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2012. In the The Collection of Will Fisher: Founder of Jamb auction, the work Wee Wee - a favourite French terrier sold for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,089.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Perlee Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning On The Beach, Coast of Northumberland in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 16,038.34).
