Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A rest from studies by Henry Perlee Parker was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in February 2004. The price achieved of GBP 382.40 (€ 570.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Perlee Parker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning On The Beach, Coast of Northumberland in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 16,038.34).
