A top price for Henry Schouten
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Gundogs by Henry Schouten. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,462.50 (€ 9,996.02), 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, Gundogs is even the most expensive work of art by Henry Schouten that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gundogs von Henry Schouten zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 9.996,02) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Gundogs sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henry Schouten, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
