Die Arbeit Portrait of Eliza Hare von Henry Walton kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.553,50 (€ 1.663,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Walton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Young Angler im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 53.160,71).
