This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hiroshi Furuyoshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Maya sold at auction in September 2013 with the realized price of GBP 52,275.00 (€ 62,486.68).
