Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Vid Hammarbyleden" (Hammarbyleden, Stockholm) by Hjalmar Grahn was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 21,000.00 (€ 2,442.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hjalmar Grahn have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work View towards Riddarholmen in winter, Stockholm was auctioned for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 3,044.65).
