Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening Mood by Hong Zhu'An was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,769.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 26,000.00 – 38,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hong Zhu'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Profound in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,340.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Evening Mood von Hong Zhu'An wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.769,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 26.000,00 – 38.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hong Zhu'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Profound im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.340,99).
