Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Honor Titus could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou auction, the work Pal, Palace, Palisades changed hands for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,785.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Honor Titus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Linden Blvd Jazz Radio in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 163,800.00 (€ 145,122.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Honor Titus konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou wechselte die Arbeit Pal, Palace, Palisades für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.785,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Honor Titus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Linden Blvd Jazz Radio im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 163.800,00 (€ 145.122,71).
