Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Asian Art, which included the work Flowers by Huang Jun. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 1,494.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Scenery By The Shore in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,324.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Huang Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 2.460,00 (€ 1.494,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Scenery By The Shore im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.324,87).
