Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Cannes, La Croisette by Hugues Claude Pissarro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,422.17), 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hugues Claude Pissarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 34,784.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cannes, La Croisette von Hugues Claude Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.422,17) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hugues Claude Pissarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Un Dimanche À La Roseraie 'Jean Grave' (Pont De L'Arche Alizay) im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 34.784,80).
