Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included this untitled work by Huguette Caland. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 24,116.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huguette Caland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bribes de Corps (Body Parts) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 250,000.00 (€ 289,982.07).
