Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Artcurial held the auction Vincent Wapler Collection, which included the work Construction In Process Lodz - 1991 by Ian Wallace. The price achieved of EUR 9,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ian Wallace have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At the Crosswalk III in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,805.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Vincent Wapler Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construction In Process Lodz - 1991 von Ian Wallace zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ian Wallace auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At the Crosswalk III im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.805,30).
