In December 2020 Christies in New York held the auction American Muse: The Collection of Nina Griscom, which included the work Small goat and bird by Immi C. Storrs. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,635.32) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Immi C. Storrs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Future Horses in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,728.78).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Muse: The Collection of Nina Griscom durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small goat and bird von Immi C. Storrs zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.635,32) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Immi C. Storrs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Future Horses im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.728,78).
