This artwork by India Mahdavi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2014. In the Sale Benefiting to Fédération pour la Recherche sur le Cerveau auction, the work Bishop - 2003 sold for EUR 1,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 501.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by India Mahdavi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Domino sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of EUR 2,200.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von India Mahdavi erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sale Benefiting to Fédération pour la Recherche sur le Cerveau wurde die Arbeit Bishop - 2003 für EUR 1.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 501,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von India Mahdavi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Domino im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.200,00.
