Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Koller held the auction Photographie, which included the work Au Musée, Paris, 1954. by Inge Morath. The price achieved of CHF 1,125.00 (€ 970.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 900.00 – 1,400.00. Admittedly, works by Inge Morath have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mrs Eveleigh Nash with her chauffeur, at Buckingham Palace Mall, 1953 in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,125.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Koller die Auktion Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Au Musée, Paris, 1954. von Inge Morath zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 1.125,00 (€ 970,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 900,00 – 1.400,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Inge Morath auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mrs Eveleigh Nash with her chauffeur, at Buckingham Palace Mall, 1953 im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.125,92).
