Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Inge Schiöler could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Scandinavian Sale auction, the work Swedish Vår (Spring) changed hands for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,498.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Inge Schiöler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bay with boathouse and boat in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 87,981.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Inge Schiöler konnte im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Scandinavian Sale wechselte die Arbeit Swedish Vår (Spring) für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.498,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Inge Schiöler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bay with boathouse and boat im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 87.981,25).
