Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boathouse by Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky was sold in the Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art auction at Christies in New York in April 2002. The price achieved of USD 2,390.00 (€ 2,654.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaak Izrailevich Brodsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nanny With Children in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 937,250.00 (€ 1,099,831.46).
