Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work A Scene From The First World War. by Ivan Simakov was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in March 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had set an estimate of EUR 200.00, but failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Simakov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unloading The Barge (Forced Labour) in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,117.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit A Scene From The First World War. von Ivan Simakov im März 2011 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit EUR 200,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung jedoch nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 150,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Simakov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unloading The Barge (Forced Labour) im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.117,58).
