A top price for J. Wilkins
This artwork by J. Wilkins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in May last year. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Scene) sold for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,699.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. This high result makes Untitled (Scene) the most expensive artwork by J. Wilkins that we have observed at auctions so far.
