Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Prints, which included the work Queen Artemis in a Landscape deploring her Husband by Jacob Binck. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 886.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Binck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at the Bath in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,271.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Queen Artemis in a Landscape deploring her Husband von Jacob Binck zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 886,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Binck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathsheba at the Bath im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.271,53).
