In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master PrintsAn Important Private Collection, which included the work Saint George on Horseback (Bartsch 23; Hollstein 62) by Jacob Binck. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 720.00 (€ 1,068.57), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Binck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathsheba at the Bath in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,271.53).

Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master PrintsAn Important Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint George on Horseback (Bartsch 23; Hollstein 62) von Jacob Binck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.068,57) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Binck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bathsheba at the Bath im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.271,53).
