Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An interior with an elegant woman playing a lute and a man playing a flute, a maid by the fireplace beyond by Jacob Ochtervelt. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,176.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Ochtervelt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Child And Nurse In The Foyer Of An Elegant Townhouse, The Parents Beyond in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 4,421,000.00 (€ 3,274,814.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An interior with an elegant woman playing a lute and a man playing a flute, a maid by the fireplace beyond von Jacob Ochtervelt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.176,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Ochtervelt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Child And Nurse In The Foyer Of An Elegant Townhouse, The Parents Beyond im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.421.000,00 (€ 3.274.814,81).
