In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work An elegantly dressed young man wearing a hat by Jacopo da Empoli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,212.20), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacopo da Empoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study Of A Boy in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 53,257.94).

Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit An elegantly dressed young man wearing a hat von Jacopo da Empoli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.212,20) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacopo da Empoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study Of A Boy im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 53.257,94).
