Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work A seated evangelist by Jacopo Zanguidi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,939.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacopo Zanguidi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soldiers on horseback pursued by foot-soldiers, which sold at auction in January 2000 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 87,116.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A seated evangelist von Jacopo Zanguidi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 34.939,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Zanguidi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soldiers on horseback pursued by foot-soldiers beobachtet, die im Januar 2000 für USD 85.000,00 (€ 87.116,94) versteigert wurde.
