Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lot von zwei Bll.: 1.Tempio antico su la Via Nomentana, 1796. by James Forbes was auctioned at Koller in March 2007. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 2,040.00 (€ 1,257.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Forbes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mr Grant shooting near Rothes, on the Spey in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,775.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lot von zwei Bll.: 1.Tempio antico su la Via Nomentana, 1796. von James Forbes kam im März 2007 bei Koller zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 2.040,00 (€ 1.257,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Forbes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mr Grant shooting near Rothes, on the Spey im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.775,87).
