The work Kelowna Landscape by Jock Macdonald was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 13,200.00 (€ 10,125.26), 65% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jock Macdonald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zero Flame, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CAD 39,000.00 (€ 28,421.62).

Die Arbeit Kelowna Landscape von Jock Macdonald wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 13.200,00 (€ 10.125,26) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jock Macdonald mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zero Flame beobachtet, die im November 2011 für CAD 39.000,00 (€ 28.421,62) versteigert wurde.
