Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Abstract by James Stroudley. The price achieved of GBP 1,195.00 (€ 1,805.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by James Stroudley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2004 the work Abstract was auctioned for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,683.21).

Im Juli 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract von James Stroudley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.195,00 (€ 1.805,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
