This work without title by Jamini Prakash Gangooly was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,999.25), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jamini Prakash Gangooly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Demon in my Dreadful Dream during Delirium, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 44,100.00 (€ 37,554.29).
