This artwork by Jamini Roy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in January 2024. In the The Jamini Roy Online Sale auction, the work Untitled(Gopini) sold for GBP 1,664.00 (€ 2,784.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamini Roy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Dralha) in September last year with an auction result of USD 579,600.00 (€ 592,456.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jamini Roy erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Jamini Roy Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled(Gopini) für GBP 1.664,00 (€ 2.784,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamini Roy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Dralha) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.600,00 (€ 592.456,30).
