Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Christies in Paris held the auction Le cabinet de curiosités de François Antonovich, which included the work Tête De Femme Tournée Vers La Gauche by Jan Anton Garemyn. The price achieved of EUR 625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Anton Garemyn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A continental town square with street vendors by a fountain and boys leading mules with flower baskets in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,705.41).
