Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jan Knap achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June this year. In the 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz auction, the work without title sold for GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,427.90) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jan Knap; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Knap erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.427,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jan Knap; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 11.970,00.
