This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century & Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 many times over. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Mankes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bomenrij im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 417.450,00.
