Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Children Playing With Dogs In An Interior by Jan Miense Molenaer was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,455.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Miense Molenaer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Duet: A Self Portrait Of The Artist With His Wife, Judith Leyster, Probably Their Marriage Portrait in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,405,000.00 (€ 1,781,481.48).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Duet: A Self Portrait Of The Artist With His Wife, Judith Leyster, Probably Their Marriage Portrait im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.405.000,00 (€ 1.781.481,48).
