Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Merry Company In An Inn With A Violinist by Jan Miense Molenaer was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,843.58). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Miense Molenaer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Duet: A Self Portrait Of The Artist With His Wife, Judith Leyster, Probably Their Marriage Portrait in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,405,000.00 (€ 1,781,481.48).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Duet: A Self Portrait Of The Artist With His Wife, Judith Leyster, Probably Their Marriage Portrait im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.405.000,00 (€ 1.781.481,48).
