A top price for Jan van der Heyden
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work The Dom and Domhof, Cologne by Jan van der Heyden. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 551,250.00 (€ 605,235.85), 58% above the upper estimate. This high result makes The Dom and Domhof, Cologne the most expensive artwork by Jan van der Heyden that we have observed at auctions so far.
