The work I DON'T CARE by Javier Calleja was auctioned at Christies in London in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 10,055,000.00 (€ 1,205,203.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Javier Calleja; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 30 works: Untitled sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of HKD 12,108,000.00 (€ 1,346,286.88).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.055.000,00 (€ 1.205.203,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Javier Calleja; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 30 works: Untitled im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 12.108.000,00 (€ 1.346.286,88).
