In the Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session II auction, the work The Landing of King St. Louis in Egypt, a Sketch for the Chapelle St-Louis in the Ecole Militaire sold for EUR 22,680.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Bernard Restout have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pleasures Of Anacreon in June 2012 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 134,591.10).

In der Auktion Tableaux Dessins Sculptures 1300-1900, Session II wurde die Arbeit The Landing of King St. Louis in Egypt, a Sketch for the Chapelle St-Louis in the Ecole Militaire für EUR 22.680,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Bernard Restout auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pleasures Of Anacreon im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 134.591,10).
