Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Jean-Claude Farhi was auctioned at Artcurial in Monte-Carlo in July 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Claude Farhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Jean-Claude Farhi kam im Juli 2011 bei Artcurial in Monte-Carlo zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
