Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2003 Christies in Geneva held the auction SCHWEIZER KUNST, which included the work Marché à la Place de Plainpalais by Daniel Ihly. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 6,572.50 (€ 3,015.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Ihly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carriers au travail au bord de la Rade de Genève. 1896., which sold at auction in December 2018 for CHF 11,250.00 (€ 9,987.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in Genf die Auktion SCHWEIZER KUNST durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marché à la Place de Plainpalais von Daniel Ihly zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 6.572,50 (€ 3.015,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniel Ihly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Carriers au travail au bord de la Rade de Genève. 1896. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für CHF 11.250,00 (€ 9.987,12) versteigert wurde.
