Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Claude et Simone Dray - Art Déco, which included the work Panneau Au Singe, Vers 1927 by Jean Dunand. It changed hands for a price of EUR 43,200.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Dunand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Marabou Storks' Four Panel Screen in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 301,250.00 (€ 375,344.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Claude et Simone Dray - Art Déco durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panneau Au Singe, Vers 1927 von Jean Dunand zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 43.200,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Dunand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Marabou Storks' Four Panel Screen im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 301.250,00 (€ 375.344,25).
