This artwork by Jean Hippolyte Marchand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Collections auction, the work Pot De Fleurs sold for GBP 956.25 (€ 1,121.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Hippolyte Marchand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les laveurs le long de la rivière in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 15,063.08).
