Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La promenade by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2018. The price achieved of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,722.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 65,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dans La Roseraie in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 893,000.00 (€ 656,328.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La promenade von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.722,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 65.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dans La Roseraie im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 893.000,00 (€ 656.328,09).
